Vintage Victorian Scottish Celtic Grouse or partridge Lucky Friendship Brooch Pin.
Silver Metal cap at the end with Stag head.
Stag Antlers frame the Amethyst Like Stone (not sure if it is real amethyst).
It needs a good cleaning, the pinback latch works but is a little stiff from age.
A couple of the claw tips are broken off, the thumb and middle finger.
The Brooch measures about 2 3/4" long.
The Amethyst Stone(?) measures about 1/2" x 3/8".
This belonged to my grandmother in law. She probably got it when she was a girl in Scotland back in the early 1900's. She was born in the late 1800's.
