    Brass Desk Top Fountain Pen/Dip Pen Ink Well
    with Pen Rests, Pen Tray, and a Perpetual Calendar Window with Calendar card set
    This is marked on the bottom of the unit with the maker's mark.

    This is a wonderful and hard to find item.
    The last person who used this pen well had placed a small paper calendar from the year 1939 in the calendar "window."
    There are cards that came with this set that allowed the user to always have the correct calendar.
    A shuffle of the cards allowed the user to place the first day of the month on the correct day of the week.
    A perpetual calendar.
