Vintage Gold Faber Castell (Osmia) 5564 Fountain Pen from 1974 in Box with Paper

For your consideration is a vintage Faber Castell (Osmia) 5564 fountain pen from 1974 in its original box with paperwork. The pen has a 14k solid gold Osmia style #3 medium nib with flex. The pen is marketed as a “flexible sketch pen” according to its paperwork, the validity of which is reflected in the writing sample. The nib writes smoothly when not flexed. The pen is a piston filler and the piston mechanism works smoothly in testing with water. Since the ink window seems clear, I did not fill the pen with ink, so the writing sample is composed by dipping the pen. The cap screws on tightly, although there is a small blemish where the car screws on, as shown in one of the pictures. The overall condition of the pen is great, the writing on the box by the original owner indicates that the pen was only used once after purchase, but I cannot attest to that.
