    Description

    For sale is a very rare, very cool, vintage 1940's, unopened box of 500 Society Cleansing Tissues.  This box of tissues was manufactured by CARREL DISTRIBUTORS, of Chicago, Illinois.   Each of the 500 individual cleansing tissues measure nine inches by nine inches and the box measures about 9 3/4" x 5" x 5".  The box shows its age so please look at the pictures to decide for yourself.  The bottom of the box has cool graphics and cool, old, advertisements, "For a lovely lady, the safe, easy way to personal daintiness."  Society Cleansing Tissues were sold at "All Walgreen and Walgreen Agency Drug Stores."  This cool, vintage item comes from a clean, non-smoking environment.
