FROM WALKING THE FLATS OF PEARL HARBOR BACK IN THE 80's. A LOT WERE EXPOSED ON THE MUDFLATS THEN. NOT NOW THOUGH. NOT A COMMON FIND IN HAWAII. I SUSPECT THEY WERE BEING CULTURED & THE OUTFLOW WAS RELEASED INTO PEARL HARBOR BASIN.
