Restored RCA J-2 45 RPM Record Player Changer

Description

Totally Restored RCA J-2 45 RPM Record Player Changer. Condition is restored. Motor Board sanded primed and repainted with lacquer and 4 coats of clear lacquer. Spindle mechanism cleaned and polished. Stainless record knives polished with 1500 grit. All plastic and Bakelite polished to high gloss. This changer is modified to play stereo and will also play mono with right and left side audio cables. New ceramic cartridge and diamond stylus. New motor mounts. New Cycle Cam and Idler Wheel. New power cord. 2 new audio cables for stereo play. New felt feet on bottom of Bakelite cabinet. All metal part of changer mechanism have been cleaned and parts making contact during record change have been polished with 1550 grit for smooth flawless operation. Motor completely dismanteled, bearings soaked in lacquer thinner to remove factory hardened grease that if left in motor will cause motor to run hotter and also slower. Bearings lubricated with Turbine Oil for smooth operation. All other metal parts in changer mechanism have been lubricated with extreme high temperature grease that will not flow from heat and run to areas that should not be lubricated that will cause changer to malfunction. You can stack as many as 15 45's on the spindle for playing. The number will depend on record thickness and any that may be bent due to storage in hot areas that may have warped the record.
All adjustments have been made for proper landing of stylus on record and proper end of play pick up and record drop for next play.
This changer does not have a built in amp or speaker but attaches to period radio or modern home entertainment centers. Audio cables will need to be plugged in to ceramic jack connection or auxiliary.
