    RARE antique bar of facial soap from

    The bar of soap has never been opened and still maintains its original wax seal and authentication "Woodbury's head and signature" Seal of approval which was the only way John H Woodbury's Facial Soap was known and identified as the Original.  Made by The Andrew Jergens Company in Cincinnati Ohio. As specified on the back label , there is a special circular enclosed with information on skin care from that era. It's probably a really unique advertising piece especially knowing that this was one of the first major companies to use sex to sell their products! I have never opened it to check for the circular.  Some staining on the white paper, small holes, rip marks,  etc. Overall its in very good condition for 109 year old bar of soap. It is a delicate piece though,  much care will be taken packaging and shipping this item!
