Description
A wonderful rare example of a primitive early wooden & sheet metal crank ice cream freezer in old red stenciled paint on verso which reads “Ice Cream Freezer (with a backwards Z), Burdick Bros, Pat, Waddington, PA,” with a top that removes to reveal an internal galvanized metal round compartment to add ingredients, attached to a metal and wooden crank, metal chutes on each end, as well as hinged access doors with porcelain pulls. Probably dates to the 19th century in very good condition, with minor foot losses, hinge and eyehook losses, as well as surface imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. A great addition to any antique country kitchen decor or ice cream freezer collection! Dimensions: 18 ¾” H x 22” W x 14 ½” D. Ref: 537ITEM ID
