Barnato became famous thanks to the 'Blue Train Race' in 1930, in which he competed against a high-speed train and of which he has wanted to commemorate the 90th anniversary. The piece features a stainless steel nib, a metal body decorated with a Bentley diamond pattern, applied using the Guilloché method and dark green matt lacquer inspired by the green color of the car itself. Its cap is adorned with the B of Bentley, its characteristic knurling and the original handwritten signature of Woolf Barnato, a reminder of the extraordinary Bentley spirit that endures today.
