  • Condition: Good-Very Good overall vint cond: Only a few slight, minor surface scuffs & nearly unnoticeable paper loss mar this otherwise wonderful & rather well-pres & quite scarce early 20th c American vint 1920's stand-up color litho'd store advertising counter-top display on heavy mill board, w/cut-out side margins. The mercantile store display would've been displayed in pharmacies & local 5 & dimes, advertising this chocolate laxative. Considering this pc of vint ephemera is now near, if not 100 yrs old, it would have to be considered, even w/the sm amnt of surface disruption, to be in pretty good shape. The graphic iconography consists of a smiling woman w/a period flapper girl soft hat & robed dress, no doubt 'relieved' by the success of the advertised prod, now feeling young, energetic & completely rejuvenated. Remarkably, the signage isn't plagued w/unsightly stains or depreciating corner folds. The rear fold-out stand's present & intact. A great ad piece. 'Ex-Lax the chocolate laxative.'
