Here is your chance to obtain a one-of-a-kind collectible, whether you're a Bowie fan or even just a movie memorabilia person.You are bidding on an *ULTRA RARE* Original Press Kit from Universal Studios dated August 3, 1983 for the movie MERRY CHRISTMAS, MR. LAWRENCE starring David Bowie, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Tom Conte, and others. We obtained this from an unnamed source some 20 years ago from their private collection. It is a one-of-a-kind DB collectible.
FORMAT:
Housed in a 9"x12" heavy card stock folder (1st photo) it contains (all these below are std. 8.5"x11")
1. Ten B&W GLOSSY PHOTOS as shown from the movie production
2. Bonus copy of one extra photo signed by Ryuichi Sakamoto shown in 2nd photo (this may have not been part of the press kit, but we got it from them too)

4. Eleven-Page Production Notes (This is really a GREAT READ if you love the movie!)

7. Three Page Character Outline of Tom Conti (Col. John Lawrence)

GENERAL CONDITION:
Discoloration from age (poss. nicotine, unsure) on most items except photos. No dirt or odors detected.
Folder:
Discoloration as seen in photo
Typed Pages:
No tears, no creases or folds, no missing pages, corners all okay. Edge discoloration. Staples are rusted from age, but no moisture damage is evident anywhere in the whole set.
Photos:
Pretty close to Mint. No creases, no bent corners. Only minor discoloration on rear, but this looks like photo paper aging.
