DESCRIPTION:
Original and Extremely Rare and Vintage David Bowie 1972 Handbill (leaflet and mini poster) from Bill Graham Presents for David Bowie's concert at Winterland in San Francisco California on October 27 & 28 1972. The record album "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars" had been released earlier that year. An article from the S.F. Examiner newspaper regarding David Bowie is printed on the backside. I inherited this handbill from a music memorabilia collector who found it on a sidewalk in San Francisco in 1972, hence the dirt smudges. I have only seen one other come up for sale and that was a few years ago. These were promotional paper handouts and were also affixed to telephone polls and other street posts and most were likely tossed into the trash after the concert. Very difficult to find. Measures 5.5 x 8.5 inches.
CONDITION:
Very good condition. Some handling wear and dirt stains from being found on a sidewalk in year 1972. Has a small tear to one side and a small piece of clear tape on the bottom front center area. This has been safely stored in a smoke free home. Please note, the word EBAY does not appear on the actual handbill (it was used for listing purposes only).
