+++ 1981 DAVID BOWIE Promotion Poster "GLAMOUR" by Edward Bell Vintage Original!
Edward Bell had a long creative friendship with David Bowie, documented until 2013. It all started in 1980 with the design of the cover for Bowie's album "Scary Monsters And Super Creeps".
During the photo session, the famous GLAMOR poster was created - as a variant of the main motif. The poster exists in 2 different sizes: 1. 24.4 x 31.5 inch (62 x 80 cm); 2. 24.0 x 38.8 inches (61 x 91 cm). The motif and typography are the same size in both versions. In the second version, the top and bottom margins are slightly enlarged and the credit line has been moved down. Presumably the two different versions were produced because of the different format requirements of the European and American markets.
DIMENSION:
24.4 x 31.5 inch / 62 x 80 cm (this is the smaller variant of this poster..)
CONDITION: Very good condition...traces of storage/usage ...tapes/tape traces to the edges (...first I intended to remove these...then I decided to leave them, because it fits perfect to the style of Edward Bell)...pls see pic
